Longboard spots in Houston

Houston's sprawling layout means longboard spots are spread wide across the city — from quiet neighbourhood parking lots to dedicated skate spots, the local scene knows where to roll.

Bitchtell

A 10-floor parking garage best hit after 11pm — right-hand turns, watch for speed bumps and the chain on the 6th floor, and take the stairs up to the 2nd before switching to the elevator. Security may give you the boot.

Glory Hole

A 3-to-5-floor garage best hit after 11pm, with steep right-hand down ramps — park outside at 610 Garage Parking, not inside, since mall security may give you the boot.

610 Garage Parking

The parking spot to use for Transco, Bitchtell, and Glory Hole — skate over to the garages from here.

Shanks

A super chill beginner garage with gentle right-hand down ramps — best after 11pm Monday to Saturday, but fair game all day Sunday.

Transco

A 10-floor garage with both left and right turns and switch sections in the middle — best after 11pm, park outside at 610 Garage Parking rather than inside.

12 Oaks

A 12-floor garage with long down ramps and fairly narrow turns — park inside Mini Oaks and skate over, stopping on floor 3 to cut through and ride back up.

Kirby Cork

A right-hand spiral parking garage — short but steep, decent for practicing slides and drifts.

BCBS

A 9-floor garage best skated after 11pm, with narrow right-hand turns — stop on the 2nd floor by veering left for a flat exit, or ride the elevator up to the 8th and take the stairs to the 9th.
