Longboard spots in Philadelphia

Philadelphia's parks and riverside paths — Love Park and the Schuylkill River Trail among them — have long made it a hub for skating and longboarding alike.

USciences Parking Lot

A relaxed lot with a slight slope toward the school building — usually wide open, and campus security tends to be easygoing about it.

Philly Art Museum

A perfect dancing spot on freshly paved ground next to Paine's Park, closed to cars with light foot traffic and a slight slope that's also good for freeride and slides.

Schuylkill River Trail

A classic Philly cruise along the river with great city views — shared with joggers and bikers, and Paine's skatepark branches off if you want to stop and practice tricks.

Love Park

A pretty flat stretch of Love Park — traffic builds up through the day, but late Sunday afternoons tend to be wide open.

Board Game Art Park

A standard street spot, mostly flat with a few sketchy patches, some obstacles and stairs, low traffic most days but touristy on weekends.

JFK Blvd Drexel Campus

A newly discovered spot with a decent slope, great for practicing lines, and surprisingly quiet on a Sunday afternoon.
